Not understanding why handheld settings were moved to lock onto terminal time?
I know the ELD is always locked onto a single time as it is mainly for tracking duration regardless of the phones settings. Makes sense as 11hr driving clock should never change regardless of how many timezones you cross. But if you lock the phone's clock on one timezone ( for example your terminal ) and you travel to make a stop one timezone east. The handheld may show you arrived at 8am or 5pm, but wouldn't you actually arrive at 9am or after-hours at 6pm in reality for that timezone ? Follow-up question Doesn't the HMI est arrival times adjust each arrival according to the timezone of that stops location OR is the est arrival time of the route sheet always based on your home terminal ELD time regardless of timezone of the stop?
