We would like to recognize and greatly thank the drivers and staff at cc816 Texas Electric Cooperatives for their dedication and tireless effort during the once in a twenty 20 year winter storm that hit Texas. As the temperatures dropped, the snow and ice started to fall and the calls started to come in for much needed material to restore power to thousands of Texans. The drivers & staff of cc816 answered the call and braved the hazardous conditions to deliver the loads. Texas is not a custom to this type of weather or conditions and many locations shut down because of road conditions and loss of electricity. The Cardinal TEC staff went to work and by the end of the week they had delivered over 75 loads that where critical in getting the power restored to thousands of Texas communities. I just want them to know how much they are appreciated for their efforts during this time. Many drivers and staff left their families home with no power or water to make this happen so I cannot say thank you enough for their sacrifice. The Cardinal crew at cc816 truly reflects the values of Cardinal and their dedication to care for the customers. THANK YOU!
