Hours of Service Helpful Hints

#1 - Helpful Hint-Drivers be sure you are manually selecting an On-Duty status on the handheld when going from a Drive status to an On-Duty Not Driving status to prevent the handheld from being stuck on the Drive Line, which is now a non-editable event. If you have any questions, please contact LogSupport at ext. 111989. Thank you!

#2 - Helpful Hint-Drivers be sure to stay in the cab of your truck during the XRS Logout on the handheld until the process is complete. You should see the Login screen when the procedure is finished. This will ensure the connection to the relay is not broken before the Logout is complete and prevent the handheld from being stuck in a Drive or On Duty status. If you have any questions, please contact LogSupport at ext. 111989. Thank you!

#3 - Helpful Hint for All Drivers-Please do not Power the handheld off or down until the Post-trip, Log Off Duty, and the Logout Process has completed in its entirety at the end of your shift. This will prevent possibly being stuck on the Drive or On-Duty Line. You should see the Login screen when the Logout procedure has finished. If you have any questions, please contact LogSupport at ext. 111989. Thank you!

#4 – Helpful Hint for All Drivers- Please be sure to leave your handheld in the properly mounted charging cradle when not in use. If a handheld battery dies while a driver is in a Drive status, it will likely keep the driver stuck on the Drive Line. It is recommended that the handheld battery stays charged at no less than 40% for optimal performance. If you have any questions, please contact LogSupport at 877-591-2191. Thank you!
